~*April's In-Home Child Care*~

What are my rates?

I offer very affordable rates for both full and part time attendance. So I will define the difference:

Full Time: If you plan on bringing your child 4 - 5 days per week, then I charge a flat rate of $150/wk.

Part Time: If you plan on bringing your child 2 - 3 days per week, then I charge a flat rate of $90/wk.

***Typically, this comes out to $30/day (on a 3 day week, PT and 5 day week, FT)

You will be making a decision of whether or not your child will be full or part time. Once you have made this decision, then that is your weekly rate, no matter if your child only comes half of that time. This is a business, and like you, I have to count on a monthly income for my own family. If you start out part time and need to move to full time, visa-versa, this can be accommodated depending on spot availability. Please give me at least 2 weeks notice, if possible.

If your child is sick, and can not attend the entire week, I do offer sick-rates. This is if your child can not attend the entire week. You would just pay 50% of your weekly rate.

Full Time: $75

Part Time: $45

This will hold your child’s spot. As the weekly rate you pay, is paying for a spot, not really the attendance.

Late Charges & Fees

I require to know what days and times your child will be attending a week in advance. So on your child’s last day of attendance for the week, please provide me with the next weeks schedule. Most jobs provide their employees with their schedules at least by the prior Friday.

I very much understand how rush hour can cause major traffic back ups on the highways, Supervisor’s require you to stay for a later time, etc. I have been in the work field and know all to much into these things. But, as a business owner, I have to set some guidelines with tardiness. If you are to be here to pick your child up at a certain time, I expect you to be here at that time. If you are going to be late, please give me a call and let me know this. As I will have your child ready to go out the door at the expected pick up time. I do however, charge a late charge for late pick ups. They are as follows: Every 15 minutes = $2.00.

I absolutely accept no late payments. As I require payments 1 week in advance. If I haven’t received payment by the first day of the week I am to give care for your child, I will not accept them until it’s paid.

All NSF checks will be automatically charged $40 and I will no longer accept checks from you after the 1st time it happens.

Receipts, Forms, Taxes and Copies

I keep a receipt book for all payments received. If you would like a copies of your receipts, I can send them with you monthly with an invoice. If you don’t request this, I will not hand them out. But I will have them at your disposal.

Any forms that you have filled out and given back to me I will have on file at all times. If you would like a copy for your records, please just let me know and I can get that for you.

I count every payment on my taxes. If you need any information at tax time, please let me know as I will provide you with all that information and any additional that you may need.

“Touching the Future”

I don't wear power suits, make speeches, or drive
a fancy sports car.
I've never talked on a car phone, made a big sale,
or been elected to the Senate.
I don't "do lunch”, have a big impressive office
or carry a beeper.
I spend my days wiping away tears, giving hugs,
and serving chicken nuggets.
A good day is when I go through a whole day without a temper tantrum,
bite mark or a toilet training accident.
My "office" is a room full of brightly colored toys and laughing children.
You may not think that what I do is very important
and you may even whisper behind my back
"What a waste of a good mind."
But I know better.
I make a difference because I'm changing the world one child at a time.
Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime chance to touch the future.
I'm proud to say "I'm a child care provider".
